Mission

We are a shul with a universal heart. We offer a spirited, ecstatic prayer service every Friday night and Shabbat morning. We serve delicious holiday meals and conduct festive celebrations for Passover, Shavuot, the High Holidays, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah, along with communal observance of all other holidays, Chanukah, Purim, and the fast days as well. We become current by teaching the ancient texts. The more we understand yesterday, the more we understand today.

About

The uniqueness of The Carlebach Shul lies in its ability to bring together and inspire a wide spectrum of the Jewish population. The unaffiliated Jew, the modern-orthodox, the traditional Chassid, as well as a host of Scholars-In-Residence all come to pray, sing, dance and learn together in an environment that embodies holiness, spirituality and joy.
