Il Centro Multicultural Community Center: This is the first Italian-American multicultural community center in New York, located in southern Brooklyn. It is a multi-level 44,000 square foot facility outfitted with modern, state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Location: 8711 18th Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11214 Il Centro is open whole year round from 6am to 11pm Monday through Friday and 7am to 7pm Saturday to Sunday, except for certain public holidays. Il Centro serves about 1,200 youth, adults, and families, about 800 of whom are regular members.
