Ywca Brooklyn furthers its mission by providing affordable housing for women, most of whom are survivors of gender-based violence; a college access and leadership development program for low-income girls of color; social justice advocacy; and a community center that offers racial justice and gender equity programs as well as free and subsidized meeting space to nonprofit and civic partners throughout the borough.
