World Day of Bullying PreventionWorld Day of Bullying Prevention takes place on the first Monday of each October and urges students to wear blue as well as raise awareness making that the day that Bullying Prevention is heard around the world. Students are also taught to stand up for others who are being bullied and cyberbullied.The campaign raises awareness and funds to stop bullying. More importantly, it gives students a voice, making it the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world.Over 100,000 youths have been impacted with World Day of Bullying Prevention Funding!At the heart of the campaign is a simple call to action: #BlueUp! The color blue represents peace and provides a platform for kids, teens and adults to show and voice their support to stop bullying. In 11 years, this campaign has gone global.National Culture WeekNational Culture Weeks focus is to spark a conversation among youth about the need to change the culture from one of cruelty to one of kindness and inclusivity. At the heart of Culture Week is Culture Shock a live program which is also livestreamed to schools .STOMP Out Bullying kicked-off the week by hosting a live stream Culture Week Panel discussion facilitated by celebrity influencers from the media, sports, entertainment and social media worlds. Over 300,000 students attended the livestream with 275 students live in the audience. In its second year, this event is so popular schools are reaching out to us to lengthen the program.HelpChat LineThe HelpChat Line is a free and confidential online chat that helps youth ages 13-24 with issues around bullying and cyberbullying; as well as providing support to youths who may be at risk of suicide.Its goal is to help youths reduce the stress, depression and fear they are feeling as a result of being bullied and to empower them to make healthy decisions. The HelpChat Line is run by professionally trained volunteer counselors.The STOMP Out Bullying HelpChat Line Our counselors have been specially trained to assist kids and teens who are feeling distressed as a result of being bullied and to respond to all requests for emotional support.Through its HelpChat Line, it has assisted over 100,000 youths who have been bullied, cyberbullied, and at risk of suicide. The HelpChat Line has saved the lives of over 2,000. These numbers increase daily.
