International Development: During FY18, EDC's Read Right Now! literacy approach was implemented in additional locations. In total, this approach has transformed literacy teaching and learning for 15 million students and 300,000 teachers in two dozen resource-lean environments around the world. To date, over 400,000 youth have participated in EDC's Work Ready Now!, a job skills training program implemented in over 25 countries and translated into more than 19 languages. Five countries have scaled Work Ready Now! into their national school systems. EDC's interactive audio instruction has improved educational access, engagement, quality, and outcomes for 100 million children, youth, and adults worldwide.
