Faith and Community Empowerment (Face)'s mission is to advance the Asian American community's participation, contribution, and influence through faith-based and community partnerships. To achieve our mission, Face strengthens the communities in which we serve by building the capacities of Asian American faith and community organizations, assisting low-income community members, and working to revitalize neighborhoods. To date, we have garnered over 700 partners across the nation, ranging from the White House to Fortune 500 companies, local non-profit organizations, and key institutional stakeholders. Face transforms lives and communities by addressing community challenges, enhancing the quality of services for low-income, immigrant and disenfranchised individuals, changing the landscape for the Korean/Asian American and Pacific Islander community and forming private/public partnerships that strengthen communities.

Face housing counseling agency assists potential home owners in the purchase of their first home by providing home buyer education, financial literacy, and counseling. Prospective homeowners learn about government down payment assistance programs, escrow, and related topics that will equip them to purchase a home and be an informed, smart buyer. To date, Face has educated and trained over 8,000 potential buyers. Face also provides an 8-hour NeighborWorks certificated homebuyer education class. Face is also a HUD approved housing counseling agency. For our homeownership program, Face has received numerous awards including the Hope Award from the National Association of Realtors.
