About

Almost 12,000 people walked through our doors in 2018. We re-homed 975 animals, conducted 1,085 medical exams, 1391 vaccinations, 26 surgeries, 350 spay and neuters, and we offered free pet food to over 1,000 families in need. We rescued 355 animals from high-volume shelters and provided education for over 200 students. 152 feral cats were trapped, neutered and returned to the outdoors. We administered rabies shots to 116 community pets. Over 200 volunteers gave 8,300 hours of service. We had almost 3,000 donors help to advance our mission. We collaborated with several local social service agency partners, and our humane investigator assisted law enforcement with animal abuse cases in Chittenden and Grand Isle counties and beyond.
