Word Radio Educational Foundation was organized to provide a platform to establish Non-Commercial Educational Christian radio broadcasting to communities within the reach of its radio broadcasting facilities which would proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teach Judeo- Christian principles for life. __Word Radio continues its outreach through WSEW 88.7 FM broadcasting from Sanford, Maine, to points in southern Maine, seacoast and inner regions of New Hampshire, and northeastern Massachusetts along the I-95 corridor to Boston.__Word Radio brings together its four other radio stations in a separate but similar format known as Word Radio Life, operating WRKJ 88.5 FM in Gorham, Maine, reaching into the Westbrook-Portland area, WMTP 91.1 FM to the Mount Washington Valley region, WMEK 88.3 FM in Kennebunkport, Maine and WWPC 91.7 FM New Durham, NH.__ Word Radio has maintained all five of its stations 24/7 without interruption. Development plans continued for the expanded listenership of both WSEW and WMEK.__ The funding of this Program Service is comprised of donations from: Individuals; Impact Partners consisting of Churches, Christian schools, Christian ministries, and Christian business owners; Program Producers, themselves being listener supported and who have a shared participation arrangement with non-commercial broadcasters, providing an agreed upon percentage of their donations attributable to Word Radio stations. ___Program Service accomplishments_ Broadcasting the Word of God on non-commercial FM stations continues to fulfill the accomplishment goals of Word Radio. All five stations have maintained absolute 24/7 operation without interruption. The broadcast programs available freely to the public teach believers and reach out to unbelievers, offering programs from ministries that teach and preach the Word of God with the goal of clearly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Content of programming on Word Radio is based on sound biblical doctrine. Program content offers hope and encouragement to all listeners, with emphasis on finances, family, citizenship, relationships, changing culture, and church leadership through the lens of a Christian worldview.__Word Radio has experienced increased interaction with listeners and donors through personal correspondence as well as regular emails to listener/donors, prayer partners, volunteers, impact partners, local pastors and congregations. Through the use of customer relationship management software (Keela), importing listener and donor history, keeping current with all new contacts, and providing an improved online donor platform with prompt interaction, there increased effectiveness with connecting listeners to Word Radio. Churches and ministries have been benefiting from the website online calendar and an on-air calendar of events, keeping the listening community up to date of events within the listening areas of the stations. Streaming the broadcast day of WSEW and keeping touch with listeners and followers of social media expands our outreach and broadcast range. Participation in community and musical events to raise awareness of Christian Broadcasting - Word Radio and all its five stations located in varying geographic regions: Paint the City Blue, River Rock, Operation Christmas Child Workshops and Packing Parties, Decision America, Aspire Women's Event. Partnership with camps and conference centers to build up leaders in churches and with private Christian schools preparing students for leadership. ____Development of locally produced broadcast programs that provide Encouragement for local churches and ministries, including churches in Wolfeboro, NH, Sanford and Gorham Maine, Amesbury MA, parachurch ministry and Maine news digest. A new Word Radio Production - Callings - made its debut in April for listenership encouragement and involvement. Guests have had callings from their ordinary lives to extraordinary direction and have ranged from drugs, to schools, to ministry to the poor and imprisoned, the sick and dying, about marriages and families, global ministry opportunities and music ministry. __ Word Radio has maintained all five of its stations 24/7 without interruption. Development plans continued for the expanded listenership of both WSEW and WMEK.
