Closing your Daffy account is a straightforward process, but we're always sorry to see a member of our community go. Daffy is a fantastic platform for managing your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), offering a seamless experience across iOS, Android, and web platforms. To close your account via the Daffy app, navigate to Settings (the gear symbol in the top right of the screen), tap “Help,” and finally “Delete Account.” If you're using the Daffy website, click on your avatar (top right), then "Membership," and finally "Cancel Membership." Before you leave, we recommend you donate your remaining balance to a charity of your choice. You can choose from over 1.5 million charities, non-profits, schools, and religious institutions supported on Daffy. Also, remember to download your Tax Summary report and donation receipts from the Contributions section on the app or web. If there is another member on this account, they will also need to cancel their membership. Daffy is designed to make giving a habit. We help you set aside money for those less fortunate by simply selecting how much you want to set aside for charity every year and automating your contributions. We believe in the power of giving, and we're here to make it as easy as possible for you. If you have a recurring donation set up, you can cancel it by visiting the "Donations" tab on the Daffy app or website. Your recurring donation should appear at the top under "Upcoming Donations," where you'll find an option to cancel. Remember, even if you're leaving, you can still make a difference. Consider gifting from your fund to a recipient of your choice. They can choose which charity they'd like to support, and we'll send you an email to approve it.
