1. Find the donation you’d like your employer to match on daffy.org by clicking “View,” or simply tap it on our app.
2. Click or tap “Get Receipt” and download the receipt.
3. Upload it to your employer matching portal or send it to your HR department to request the match.
If you want to get all your donations matched, you can download the donations report from the Donations tab and select the year you're interested in. Remember, every employer has its own matching policy, and most will only match donations you make to charities through your donor-advised fund (DAF), not the contributions you make to your DAF.
However, if your employer does match DAF contributions, you can get those matched by using your Tax Summary report, which is available year-round on Daffy. Simply go to the Contributions tab, click on Tax Summary, and download the one for the current year. Then, upload it to your employer matching portal to request the match.
