The Bergenfield Dominoes Club (BDC) is a non-profit organization based in Bergenfield, New Jersey. It was founded by a group of friends who regularly gathered to play dominoes, a popular pastime in Latin America. Over time, these social gatherings evolved into a community-focused organization, with the friends realizing the potential impact they could make by working together.
The BDC has been making a difference in its local community since 2016, not only by strengthening family values and promoting the game of dominoes, but also by actively supporting various causes. The club has donated supplies and funds to Latin America and the Caribbean, including sending 5,000 pieces of sports equipment to underprivileged children in the Dominican Republic.
The BDC also runs several initiatives, such as the 12X12 Initiatives, which assists New Jersey residents affected by natural disasters and world events. Other initiatives include a toy drive, a youth mentoring program, and a scholarship program. The club's efforts extend beyond Bergenfield, with their impact being felt across the U.S. and even internationally.
Daffy is proud to support the BDC and its mission. The club's story and impact have inspired many within the Daffy community and beyond. By using Daffy, people from all over the U.S. can support the BDC's work and help them make a difference in their local community and abroad. The BDC's commitment to community, culture, and friendship aligns with Daffy's values, making it an excellent option for a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).
