Adding a charitable beneficiary to your Daffy account is a simple and straightforward process. If you're already a member of Daffy, you can do this directly from the Daffy app or website. Simply tap on "Daffy Gifts" on the Homescreen or navigate to https://www.daffy.org/gifts. From there, you can choose a recipient and the amount you'd like to gift from your fund. You can even add a personal message and send it to their email, or copy the link and send it to them directly however you’d like.
The recipient then has the freedom to choose which charity they'd like to support from over 1.5 million charities, non-profits, schools, and religious institutions supported on Daffy. The best part? The recipient can redeem without even creating a Daffy account. Once they select which charity they’d like to support, Daffy will send you an email to let you know to approve it and the donation will be sent from your fund.
Daffy is not just a platform for making donations, it's a community that encourages and supports charitable giving. Whether you're setting up your Daffy account or an existing member, we prompt you to answer this question: How much do you want to give to charity this year? This helps you set a giving goal and track your progress throughout the year.
Moreover, Daffy is designed to support everyone's giving. Our team understands that couples may have different charities and causes they each support. With the Daffy family account, couples can both give from the same fund, anytime and anywhere, while still keeping track of their charitable spending in one place.
If you're not a Daffy member yet, sign up now and you’ll be asked if you’d like to set up a Family account during the sign-up process. If you and your partner are both already Daffy members and you’d like to combine your funds, you can contact us and we’ll get this squared away for you.
At Daffy, we believe that couples that give together, stay together. We hope this makes it easier for your family to give more generously this year. Join the Daffy community and make giving a habit.
