Mission

We are advocates for stem cell research. Our mission at Americans for Cures is to advocate for stem cell research and therapy development, entirely with the aim to improve the lives of patients and their families suffering chronic disease and injury.

About

Provided advocacy dedicated to promoting life-saving stem cell research and therapy development. Staff made available technically correct scientific and policy-related information and materials to the public via our website and outreach, as well as to numerous incumbent elected officials, upon request. Materials included information about key stem cell and therapy developments, as well as the potential implications of 'personhood' legislation for in-vitro fertilization (IVF), stem cell research, and other areas. Staff trained patient advocates for public-facing and media messaging on stem cell research, clinical trials and key policy issues.
