About
Providing food and discipleship training in Uganda and Kenya: 72 volunteers came to work with us in Uganda and Kenya in 2019. 340,000 pounds of food and 790 gallons of cooking oil were given out in the slums and to refugees in Kampala through Manna Ministry. 100,000 pounds of food with 110 large bags of charcoal and 150 gallons of cooking oil were given to refugee families living in Arua, Uganda. 256,800 Bible Way books were printed and distributed. 1,300 Maama kits were given out to expectant moms in the slums of Kampala. 25 re-usable sanitation pad workshops were held in slums of Kampala. 20 sewing machines were repaired and supplies for training female inmates were donated to Jinja Women's Prison. More than 4,500 bars of soap, over 3,000 sanitary pads, and numerous ink pins, chalk and other supplies were given to inmates in addition to Bible Way books. There were 642,612 that heard the message and made decisions to follow Christ, with 16,602 being baptized. Approximately 12,000 house churches were reported by the end of the year. There were approximately 10,000 men and women actively sharing Christ and training others to do the same.
