IN FY19, NETHOPE'S DISASTER RESPONSE EFFORTS INCLUDED:1) CONNECTIVITY FOR REFUGEES AND HUMANITARIAN AID WORKERS IN COLOMBIA: IN FY 2019, NETHOPE SET UP AND PROVIDED CONNECTIVITY FOR 90 SITES IN COLOMBIA TO ASSIST WITH THE INFLUX OF VENEZUELAN REFUGEES LIVING IN COLOMBIA. 2) REFUGEE CAMP CONNECTIVITY: IN FY19, NETHOPE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE CONNECTIVITY SUPPORT TO MORE THAN 50 CAMPS IN GREECE, ENSURING THAT AID WORKERS AND DISPLACED PERSONS HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET AND THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD.3) MOZAMBIQUE: NETHOPE SUPPORTED THE UN'S EMERGENCEY TELECOM CLUSTER AND OUR NGO MEMBERS ON A COORDINATION AND ASSESSMENT MISSION FOLLOWING CYCLONE IDAI. 4) DISASTER PREPAREDNESS: NETHOPE IS WORKING WITH A NUMBER OF PARTNERS AND NGO PARTNERS TO PRE-POSITION EQUIPMENT AND TRAIN VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT DISASTER RESPONSE EFFORTS IN THE FUTURE.
