Mission

The Arc of Burlington County, Inc. (formerly The Burlington County Unit of the New Jersey Association for Retarded Citizens) is a non-profit organization founded in 1956 by a group of parents who realized how few services were available for their children with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, as well as their families. We presently offer a wide range of services that include 10 community residential homes and apartments for adults, five adult day care programs, Community Based Supports Services, and an extensive recreation program open to adults throughout Burlington County with developmental disabilities.
